Basic Information

Agent UI is a modern, ready-to-use chat interface template for interacting with Agno agents. It provides a front-end built with Next.js, TypeScript and Tailwind CSS designed for developers who want a web chat to surface agent responses, tool calls, reasoning steps and references. The repository is intended as a template to connect to an Agno backend or a local Agno Playground and includes both an automatic installer via npx create-agent-ui and manual setup instructions using pnpm. The default API endpoint is set to http://localhost:7777 and can be edited from the UI. The project includes development scripts for running a local dev server, contribution guidelines, and is distributed under the MIT License.
